The Centaurus High School Choirs is proud to host the 16th Annual Madrigal Dinner on Saturday and Sunday, January 13 and 14, 2018. The evening includes an original performance, written and performed by members of the choir, elaborate costumes, and a dinner inspired by Renaissance cuisine. Dinner will be followed by a formal choir concert featuring the Centaurus High School choirs. The dinner will be catered by Jules’ Gourmet. Tickets are $25 general admission, and $35 for preferred seating. Reservations must be made by noon on January 9. The Madrigal dinner is the primary fundraiser for the Centaurus Choirs; more than 80 students sing with the choirs in 5 vocal ensembles. The money helps to purchase formal concert attire, pay for registrations to the UNC and CHSAA Jazz Festival sand the Colorado All State Choir Festival as well as purchase education materials used in the classroom.
The five choirs give an average of 30 performances around the community annually, including local schools and senior centers. These talented group of students are known for their high quality, engaging performances. [Organizer's description]
