The Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club (CRYSC) is hosting a FootGolf Tournament at Park Hill Golf
Course on Sunday, October 22, with tee times available from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The tournament is
a fundraiser to support the Club’s Outreach Department, which implements a free soccer league for
2,000 youth each year in the greater Denver Metro area. The Guinness Book of World Records has
approved the tournament fundraiser as an official attempt to set the record for the World’s Largest
FootGolf is exactly what you might imagine: it’s a combination of soccer
and golf. Players kick a soccer ball into a generously-sized golf hole in the fewest kicks possible. A round
of nine holes takes about 60 minutes. Park Hill Golf Course will have TVs to watch the Colorado Rapids
vs. Seattle Sounders game kicking off at 2 p.m., and a beergarden and barbecue area will be available for
refreshments throughout the day.
Registration is open and interested parties should visit the webpage to learn more and sign up:
