Grandoozy

Kendrick Lamar is a headliner who more than lives up to the hype. The rapper will close out the first night of the Grandoozy music, food, arts and outdoors festival, and fans can expect an excellent, intense set from the now-veteran 31-year-old performer, whose flow is as dominant on stage as on his recordings. The real question is how deeply Lamar will draw from his well of material, which could include hits stretching from his 2011 debut, Section.80, to the Pulitzer Prize-winning DAMN. and his contributions to the Black Panther soundtrack. K.Dot’s label recently shut down rumors of a new album nearing completion, but perhaps Lamar will use the friendly Denver crowd as a testing ground for fresh verses.
