KIDSONG– an exciting group singing experience for children
Hi! My name is Amelia Petrie and I have designed a FUN, INTERESTING, ACTIVE, AND MENTALLY STIMULATING program combining singing lessons with an introduction to music training for kiddoes 3-6. They will learn how to breathe properly, where they should sing (which is actually where they speak naturally), proper posture, basic music theory and the best part…
at the end of the lesson, the group will write their own song!
Bonus: The kids get to wear animal ears and tails! (It’s a fun posture thing.)
Parents are requested to stay and are also encouraged to participate with their children, so you will get two voice lessons for the price of one!
About the Teacher:
Amelia has been teaching voice lessons since 1991, has her Bachelor’s and Master’s
Degrees in opera and has specialized in treating damaged voices for most of that time. She performs in the Denver corridor with her band, Ambiance Evolution, who are currently working on their second CD. She has been working with her son (5), on this program the past few years to make sure it is as entertaining as it is educational.
