People have been turned away month after month as the Intro to the Science of Fly Fishing class filled up, so this month it's being held at Denver Outfitters!
Join aquatic biologist and trout medium Peter Stitcher for a look beneath the surface of the water and into the mind of a trout. In this 2-1/2 hour class, Peter will delve into the science of trout habitat selection, trout feeding behavior, entomology and stream dynamics -- breaking them down into easily applicable skills for the fly angler to experience greater success on the water.
Topics to be covered include understanding trout habitat; what do trout see and how trout vision pertains to fly selection; streamside entomology 101; and tying on the patterns the fish want to eat.
Space is limited to 50 anglers.
Participants will receive a handout illustrating topics covered in the class, a pack of 15 flies as a companion to the entomology portion of the class, a free year membership to Trout Unlimited, a free Slap-Koozie from Denver Outfitters and free beer provided by Crazy Mountain Brewing!
Get your ticket online for just $45.
