Craig Marshall Smith is an Abstract Expressionist oil painter who describes his paintings as one part Richard Diebenkorn, one part Franz Kline, and one part Edward Hopper. Smith’s works are influenced by these artists, as well as by drawing, draftsmanship, and calligraphy. Smith has BFA and MFA degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles and currently resides in Denver, Colorado.
