A special concert dedicated to the Dairy’s new 7’ semi-concert grand Schimmel piano and the versatile nature of this fine instrument! The concert will begin featuring the collaborative nature of the piano paired with movement as Tobias Tenenbaum performs one of his original piano composition with members of 3rd Law and Objectivity Dance. In the heart of the program, Hsing-ay Hsu will showcase the instrument’s solo capacity performing traditional 19th and 20th century piano works. Closing the evening will be a jazz number led by Venezuelan jazz pianist Victor Mestas with jazz vocalist Elena Camerin Young and bassist Bill McCrossen. [Organizer's description]
