If the thought of dancing to modern hip-hop in one of Denver's oldest buildings sounds intriguing, Blake Street Vault is your place. The 150-year-old building is reportedly haunted by a ghost named "Lydia," a former barmaid who likes to pop out and say "hello" to unsuspecting bartenders and servers who travel down to the bar's basement. Adding to the mystery are the rumored tunnels under the bar, which connect the Vault to other nearby establishments. But on the ground floor, the appeal of the Vault is no mystery: There's a DJ on the weekends, daily happy-hour specials, a full menu with a scary-good burger, and an array of cocktails ranging from from Manhattans to Sidecars to Moscow Mules.
