A few months before opening Boone's Tavern November 2011, B.U.F.F. Brothers co-owner Rob Lanphier split with his business partner and started a new company, Pour Kids, that would later became Table to Tavern. In early 2012, he added HandleBar Tavern, formerly the Downing Street Bar & Grill, to his stable and subscribed the bar to the company's "stateriotic" concept of serving locally sourced beer and spirits. With 25 TVs scattered around the Washington Park hang, there's plenty of opportunity to catch a game. The menu includes a number of starters, lighter plates, sandwiches and entrees.
