For over two decades, owner Ba Forde has been serving a very traditional version of her home country's cuisine in a pleasant, near-invisible space in a strip mall. But in 2014, she moved the restaurant to a new location in the Pacific Ocean Marketplace. One bite of the green-lip mussels in a Thai coconut curry sauce, or the pork in spicy black-pepper sauce, or the duck with lemongrass is enough to permanently imprint Kim Ba in your brain. For great Vietnamese food, this is the place.
