Paradise Asian Cafe is an austere, simple place, tucked away in an Aurora strip mall that caters to a mixed bag of Asian families, American families, Asian-American families and anyone else who happens to stumble across this restaurant amid all the big-box hardware and grocery stores, insurance offices, beauty parlors and liquor stores way down south. The cuisine is second-generation immigrant Chinese -- Chinese for Asian people reared on the particular American versions of the dishes of their homelands. And within that niche, Paradise does fantastic work, churning out some of the best American Chinese food in the city.
