PT's Showclub

The middle ground between downtown's self-styled gentlemen's clubs and the sketchy strip joints in the suburbs, the venerable PT's Showclub has been shakin' it for thirty years now. The PT's on Evans -- in a room that used to host the legendary Family Dog rock club in the '60s -- is a neon-blasted strip club that promises a good time for all. Often host to titillating and wild events like the Velcro and Sumo Challenge and Foxy Boxing, PT’s invites patrons to light up a cigar with their whiskey, or even show off their goods on the expansive dance floor. On Friday and Saturday nights the club offers an "all-male revue" on the main floor from the fit folks of Bare Assets, while the second floor houses PTs After Dark which keeps the whole shebang moving right until 4 in the morning.
