The South Broadway storefront currently occupied by the Green Depot is the former home of numerous failed dispensaries. At one point during the early 2000s, the place was home to a garage specializing in custom choppers, so the waiting room is a massive former motorcycle display room. Compared to the front of the store, the bud bar feels like a closet; it's cozy and narrow, putting you right up against the glass display counter containing clear Mason jars filled with cannabis. After having served medical customers since 2010, the Green Depot was one of the first shops to offer recreational sales to the general public in 2014. Customers will find anywhere from twelve to fifteen carefully selected strains, edibles, drinks and an array of concentrates, from shatter to caviar to BHO. The staff strives to provide an open, non-threatening atmosphere, encouraging customers to ask questions and take their time browsing.
