Owners Joe and Peggy Romano are no strangers to the Boulder dining scene. They opened the venerable and well-loved Mediterranean Restaurant over 25 years ago, and their Brasserie Ten Ten has been going strong for over a decade. Their third venture, Via Perla, opened in March 2016 and focuses on classic Italian dishes in an elegant dining room. The happy hour (called merenda, after the Italian word for "snacks") is especially noteworthy and echoes the Med's tapas menu. The list of nibbles ranges from just $3 to $6 à la carte, or pair a bite and a bottle of wine for just $20.
