Cliff Young and his son, Zach, opened the doors of baRed in late 2013. But beyond those doors was a stunning renovation of an old stone building at 437 West Colfax Avenue, just around the corner from CY Steaks, which Cliff also runs. More than just a bar and lounge, baRed also has a grab-and-go area for breakfast and lunch. In the evening, guests can use the discreet alley entrance to enter the speakeasy-like lower-level bistro for drinks and dinner.
