When Denver International Airport decided to increase the emphasis on businesses and vendors with Colorado connections, it really scored with the fourth Elway’s restaurant. While this Elway’s may be at the center of busy Concourse B, it has the same elegant, clubby feel of the original restaurant in Cherry Creek, and much the same menu. If you have plenty of time between planes, you can sit down and enjoy Colorado rack of lamb or a hand-cut, aged, USDA prime steak with a couple of glasses of wine; if you only have a few minutes, you can grab an Elway’s Smash Burger to go. And unlike the other Elway’s locations, the restaurant at DIA opens at 7 a.m. for breakfast.
