Every neighborhood needs a neighborhood restaurant, and in Cherry Creek, that neighborhood restaurant is Elway's. Chef Tyler Wiard, who’s moved on to a corporate gig with a company that now oversees four Elway’s locations, set the tone with a menu that speaks to the primal needs of Cherry Creekers: all steaks and swank and smarts. The room is sumptuous – not so much clubby as sleek and classy -- and the service is warm and professional. The bar is a major gathering place, and also a good spot to eat a more casual meal. A meal here isn't cheap, but for both the quality of the food and the company, it's well worth the price. And if you’re lucky, you might even spot former Number Seven himself.
Elway’s Downtown emerged from a mixture of good friends, good food and the belief that Coloradoans are looking for – and deserve – more from a dining experience. Longtime friends John Elway and Tim Schmidt envisioned a place where friends, families and business professionals could celebrate life’s victories, or just unwind at the end of a busy day. Where an ever-changing menu offered the best of the best, accompanied by a fabulous wine list. All delivered in a contemporary atmosphere much like Colorado itself – adventurous, fun and always alive.
