While at least half of it is a market, Fisher Clark’s big draw is the kitchen, set up like a proper restaurant galley -- half exposed to the outside world at the back of the shop, stocked as if for a siege. The cooks who work here are culinary contortionists, creating everything from excellent sandwiches to delicious cheddar-bacon-jalapeño scones, from house-brand tomatillo salsa to handmade, peppery gravlax, from takeout entrees of balsamic-glazed roasted half chickens to lamb and prune tagine. Grab a seat if one’s available, but order plenty more to go. - Jason Sheehan

NO need to stop by this neighbor!
We tried our new deli today hoping they would be what they had advertised. They are indeed a food vendor. Our order took 45 minutes for 3 rare roast beef sandwiches. We were told "that is Saturday’s". We asked for three rare roast beef sandwiches menu staple - one was fantastic -two were gross. AGAIN, we tried to speak with the establishment and were told by Mary (an Owner) "what can I say". Say nothing --and don't waste your time to stop by either.

As a side not it is not kid friendly and when we sent the fax we were told they needed 24 hours notice. An hour for a phone order? To paraphrase another site *8 This is Bonnie Brae not Cherry Creek!

Overall:

I'm not sure what happened to the other reviewer- our experience has been great at the deli- no attitude from anyone, just great food and service that is as fast as they can pump out the sandwiches. Saturday is busy- but never more than a 15 or 20 minute wait. Also don't understand the not kid friendly remark- kids were all over the place last time I was there. Remember- it is a deli, not a restaurant. The food is take out, although there are a few tables outside. Don't go thinking it is a sit-down place- it is all self service with great food!

The person who gave this place 5 stars is either crazy or works there. The service was terrible and very snotty. The food stinks and wait time is bad. Save your money, go and by packaged 99 cent meat, safeway bread and you'll have a better sandwich.

I must agree with the reviews as shown by Kitt and denver matt. This place sucks! The reviews are by individuals who personally know the owner(s). This is just about the worst food I have eaten in Denver. My first visit was appalling. My second visit was even worse. Please folks, spend your money wisely and go someplace elese. I cannot imagine how or why anyone would give this place a good review. Denvermatt hit the nail on the head. Go to Quizno's or Subway for a much better sandwich, and save yourself beaucoup dollars.

I do not understand the negative reviews at all. Are you people on crack? Their Spanish Ham & Cheese is probably the best sandwich I've ever had. Candy, you say that your visit was "appalling," yet you don't give any details. It sounds to me like you just don't like the owners for whatever reason. Anyone who would suggest going to Quizno's or Subway over this place is an idiot with the palate of a 4-year-old.
