Probably the best-sounding room in the Rockies, the Fox Theatre is also one of the most well-rounded. The smoke-free, windowless concert venue hosts country, indie rock and jam-band artists; by including some of hip-hop’s most obscure talent, the Fox has also bolstered Boulder’s urban profile.

Great Venue in Boulder to see live music. All different types of music and its located in the middle of Boulder! Good times...

From up and coming bands to well known artists, the Fox has provided an intimate setting (700ppl or so) for creativity to spill into town. It's not uncommon to go see small timers play there ( for like $8 bucks) only to see them a few years later headlining - Ben Harper to Dave Matthews yada yada... if you can't find a parking spot across the street, venture south to 13th and college, make a left (east) and then your first right. There's another parking lot over there by the monstrosity of a house with white pillars.

I lived in Boulder for 3 months and went to at least 5 concerts here! It is so local and so chill! The artists are always relaxed and the atmosphere welcomes you!! Its very well located and a no stress place to enjoy great music!
