Popular for hiking, rock climbing and mountain biking, this public park is surrounded by leaning towers of colorful sediment. Tourists can be seen snapping photos in front of these ancient formations year-round. The park is free, but be sure to bring your wallet for the gift shop, which is one of the best in the state and housed in a visitors’ center that also has interesting educational exhibits.
