Goosetown Tavern

3242 E. Colfax Ave. Denver, CO 80206 | Central Denver | 303-399-9703

Location Description:

Located across from the Bluebird Theater, the Goosetown Tavern draws beer drinkers, pool players and music fans from the East Colfax corridor and beyond. After Bluebird owner Chris Swank, who also owns Mezcal next door, bought Goosetown from the Wynkoop Restaurant Group in mid-2014, a stage was built, and the bar started hosting live music on the weekends. The Goose also pulls a loyal crowd for lunch and dinner. With a fresh-feeling selection of salads, sandwiches and appetizers, the menu is several cuts above standard pub fare. Housemade soups and a fun selection of pizzas are tasty complements to its revolving selection of craft, microbrewed and regional beers. Daily happy-hour specials are another reason to visit this reliable, neighborly staple.
