Owner and chef Jay Solomon teaches cooking classes, writes cookbooks, and owns and operates two Jay's Patio Cafe locations â€• one in Highland and one in the Denver Tech Center. Both restaurants have upscale American bistro atmospheres and menus featuring freshly prepared breakfast items, soups, salads and sandwiches. Early-bird customers can break their fasts with a capicola, egg and Swiss breakfast panino or a traditional Colorado breakfast burrito with eggs, bacon, cheese and green chiles. Later, lunch-goers can enjoy a bowl of their house sherry-mushroom soup and a lemony tuna NiÃ§oise salad or a wasabi beef sandwich. Full espresso bars provide lattes and mochas to fuel the rest of the work day, and Jayâ€™s offers gourmet box lunches as well, in case you want to treat the entire office.
