A Filipino/American (among other influences) food cart, The Orange Crunch provides something thatâ€™s lacking in Denver restaurantsâ€”true Filipino street food. Inspired by co-owner Leshner del Rosarioâ€™s hometown of Batac, Philippines, the cart gets its name from its signature empanadas â€“ bright orange dough surrounding egg, mung bean, green papaya and your choice of meats from the expected pork to lamb and bacon. Tacos are served with lemongrass-infused pork sisig style and topped with chili lime salsa. Like many of the Crunchâ€™s offerings, itâ€™s South-of-the-border meets Southeast Asia.
