Taqueria Patzcuaro has long been a local stronghold for the honest flavors of Mexico. Not Tex-Mex, not borderlands grub, not the modern translations of urban Mexico City cuisine or even squishy, mild abuelita comfort food, but real Michoacán food. Owner Francisco Almanza’s modest joint is like a temple to traditional tastes and simple, friendly service, and now you can even enjoy a meal here with beer or a marg.

Great, cheap mexican food! The tacos are awesome. Dinner for 4 people with beers was just $45! Love this place.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Denver. It not only has a great atmosphere of local families, but the staff are amazingly nice. Okay now for the food. It's just fantastic. They have the best selection of tacos (the potato, steak and jalapeno one is killer), the fajitas are delicious, and the chips and salsa is never ending. Overall this place is a must. The neighborhood, the people, the grub .... one word. yummy.
