The Kitchen

1530 16th St. Denver, CO 80202 | Downtown Denver | 303-623-3127

Location Description:

Like the original location in Boulder, the Denver outpost of the Kitchen, which opened in March 2012, focuses on building community through food. Located on the 16th Street Mall, the farm-to-table restaurant -- which features a massive bar, two patios and several nooks and crannies for dining -- offers a menu of shareable plates and appetizers as well as more traditional entrees for those who want to stay on for dinner after the popular happy hour. But while many of the dishes, which emphasize local, seasonal ingredients, are worthy of celebration, at dinner the din in this LoDo spot suggests that what’s being created here is not so much a community as a scene.
