The Kitchen

1039 Pearl St. Boulder, CO 80302 | Boulder | 303-544-5973

Location Description:

The windows still bear signage from the bookstore that once inhabited the second-level space that now holds this loungey alter ego of the breezy, farm-to-table-focused Kitchen -- but all other hints of its literary past have been cleared out in favor of low, candle-lit tables, a romantic, glowing fireplace and a long wooden bar. More casual and beverage-focused than its downstairs counterpart, the Kitchen sees diners packing in for appetizers and entrees made in a wood-fired oven on weeknights; young professional residents rule on the weekends, sipping craft beers and martinis beneath dim lights and sexy beats. Since it's usually devoid of college students at all times, the Kitchen [Upstairs] could be Boulder's only truly adult bar.
