BDRMPPL 7-inch hand delivered by BDRMPRSN

In what has to be one of the most creative, clever and possibly insane marketing stunts I've ever witnessed, the BDRMPPL have promised to hand-deliver their latest release, a split 7-inch with fellow electro-nutjob Pictureplane, to anyone in Denver who wants it. And all this for the low, low price of just $2! Now, I don't buy a lot of 7-inch records these days, but I assume that's a decent price, even without the hand delivery, since you can barely get a soda for that much.

Oh, yeah, the music isn't half bad, either. BDRMPPL's track is the schizoid "Cyberpunk," which mashes about fifteen styles of electronic music into just under five minutes, while Pictureplane contributes "Trance Doll," a typically twee take on lo-fi breakbeat trance circa 1993. Add in the rad artwork (pictured) and the fact that it comes with a code to download both tracks as MP3s for your portable digital pleasure, and you've got quite a deal. To order your copy, reach out to the act via its MySpace page. I'll bet whichever of the BDRMPPL that drops it off would sign it for you, too, if you're into that sort of thing.
