Leave it to the guy who sang on the Black Flag Nervous Breakdown EP to come up with a name like Circle Jerks. These guys take swipes at authority like any punks would, but they've done so with a humorous zeal in songs like "World Up My Ass" and "When the Shit Hits the Fan" — the latter of which the band can be seen performing, lounge style, in the movie Repo Man, featuring Jerks bassist Zander Schloss. Seeing Keith Morris in documentaries on the hardcore scene of the '80s, urbanely exercising his usual dry wit, can make you forget he was the same guy who was in The Decline of Western Civilization. But no worries when he hits the stage with this band of hooligans.
