Just received word that the five members of Houses will be roaming around on the 16th Street Mall tonight, playing guitars, singing and entertaining the mall-walking troops. While we're not entirely sure which five members of Houses will be on hand -- the act is comprised of Andrew James Hamilton, Kinsey Hamilton, Stephen Brooks, Matthew Till, Johnny Lundock, Maria Kohler, Eric Peterson and Mike Marchant -- you can bet the music will be sweet. The roving musical marauders plan to meet in front of Chili's at 5 p.m., and then follow their bliss up and down the Mall as long as inspiration and hip flasks sustain them. This stunt -- and I mean that in a good way -- will hopefully build some excitement and anticipation of the band's Friday night show at the hi-dive, playing with Everything Absent Or Distorted and d. biddle. It will also build interest in the group's forthcoming EP, the release date of which was just pushed back to, um, TBD.
