Mile Highlights: Shows announced/on sale this week, local radio playlists and top local sellers
Here's what's good in the Mile High City this week. On the concert front: Peter Gabriel and Widespread Panic are coming to Red Rocks in June, while Sade is due at the Pepsi Center in August. Meanwhile on local radio, My Body Sings Electric, Pacific Pride, the Sunshine House and String Cheese Incident got spins. And finally, the Strokes, Chris Brown, Willie Wright and OFF! topped the charts at our local record stores. Click through for a full rundown.
Widespread Panic returns to Red Rocks for another three-night run that kicks off on Friday, June 24 and runs through Sunday, June 26. Panic's tour this summer marks the band's 25th anniversary. Tickets ($47.50) for this one go on sale on Friday, April 1.
Peter Gabriel will visit Red Rocks on Monday, June 13 as part of 12-city North American tour with the New Blood Orchestra. Gabriel will be digging into classics but re-interpreted with the orchestra. Reserved tickets ($54.50-$149.50) go on sale Monday, April 4 at 10 a.m.
Sade, who is releasing the 28-track two disc setThe Ultimate Collection in May, teams up with John Legend at the Pepsi Center on Thursday, August 11. Reserved tickets ($49.50-$149.50) go on sale Saturday, April 2 at 10 a.m.

Chris Brown's latest effort, F.A.M.E., meanwhile, took the top spot at Independent Records, while Willie Wright's Telling the Truth came in first at Albums on the Hill and OFF!'s First Four EPs was the top seller at Wax Trax.
