String Cheese Incident returns to the 1STBANK Center for a three-night New Year's run on Saturday, December 29, Sunday, December 30, and Tuesday, December 31. Tickets ($56-$80/three-day passes $180) go on sale this Saturday, September 7, at 10 a.m. Keep reading to see what other shows are on sale, what songs are being played on local radio and what's selling at local record stores.

Fresh off its appearance at this year's edition of Chipotle's Cultivate Festival, Blitzen Trapper is set to return to Denver for a gig at the Bluebird Theater on Friday, November 15, and tickets ($16/$20) go on sale Saturday, September 7, at 10 a.m.

Buddy Guy, who was also just recently recently in Denver for a date at Red Rocks with George Thorogood, is making his way back to Colorado for a show at the Boulder Theater, on Tuesday, November 12. Tickets ($39.50-$75) for this one are on sale now. Dr Ralph Stanley is also coming to the Boulder Theater on Friday, January 13, on his Man of Constant Sorrow Farewell Tour. Tickets ($30-$50) go on sale this Friday, September 6.
