These days, nearly every DJ wears the hat of producer, too, but electronic musicians who are as comfortable in the studio as they are controlling the dance floor are few and far between. The legendary Pete Moss is one; his music has been written up in all of the major dance-music magazines, and he's spun in London's Ministry of Sound and the famed Pacha in Ibiza, among other high-profile venues. Moss got his start playing in Boston and moved to Philadelphia in 1997, where he launched his label, Recline Records, and worked with such notable imprints as Ovum and Earthtones. John Digweed chose Moss's "Strive to Live" as the first track for his Fabric 20 set, and he's been featured on hundreds more compilations. Clearly, we're very lucky to have him spinning in Denver, especially in an intimate setting at the no-cover House Revival at Funky Buddha on Saturday, March 10, where he'll share deck duties with Omaha's Tres Johnson and our own Brett Starr.
