Fans will get a clue or two on Record Store Day, when the band issues a seven-inch single featuring two previously unreleased numbers: "War is Placebo" and "Booksmart Baby." Since Eric Early and company have been on quite a roll of late, these cast-offs are unlikely to disappoint.
Note: Record Store Day is an annual event honoring independent record stores -- a onetime retail staple that's becoming an endangered species.
