Seems like old times: Jason Heller back in Westword and Off the Wall returns to the hi-dive
If your ear's to the streets, by now you've heard that the esteemed Jason Heller has resigned his current post (though he'll still be freelancing for the national section of that paper) and will be returning home to this fishwrap in just two weeks. We're beyond stoked, as I'm sure you can imagine. And in keeping with that whole everything old is new again theme, we've just learned that his famed and sorely missed retro dance fiesta, Off the Wall, will also be working its way back to you, babe, with a burning love inside, on Wednesday, July 29 at the hi-dive. Just like before, there will be no cover before 10 p.m. and PBRs for a buck and wells for two bucks. Oh yes, friends, happy days are here again indeed! Uncork the booze and kill the fatted calf, for the prodigal hath returned.
