Bust out your sombreros hombres, it's time to bailar en la dance floor. In addition to being the official unofficial start of the weekend, this Thursday also happens to be Cinco de Mayo. If you haven't already found another Cinco event in which to get your drinko, take a gander at this list and see what else is going on tonight.
Bridging the Music presents Cinco de Mayhem at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom. Local jam rockers from Boulder Eminence Ensemble headlines for the first time on the Ballroom stage after Papa Skunk, Digital Beatdown, Wyatt Lamond, Bourdon, Abstract Collective and Gaia Experiment. Tickets are still available for $10 through Cervantes and this is in all ages show.
The Otherside will be getting down with FIGURE and Calvertron, Digital Connection, Fluffy G and Vinnie Maniscalco. Calvertron is heavy, and this venue is going to be insane, so if your modus operandis is to get down and dirty on this Cinco de Mayo, the Otherside will satisfy. Tickets through the Otherside are $16 for this all ages show, and it's not in connection with the Ballroom show.
Half Fast Subs in Boulder, notorious for throwing random, raging dance parties between slangin' sandwiches, hosts Mind Heist, whose light rig will blow you away and is probably too much to contain inside of the sub shop. Regardless, it will be a live as hell and will prime you just right for...
...Lazerdisk Party Sex at the Absinthe House for $5! The Star Wars Stormtrooper helmet wearing duo absolutely raged at Snowball this year, so Boulder Beats and Absinthe House decided it was time to spotlight them. And what better day to do so than Cinco de Mayo. If you're waiting on getting this ticket, it's $7 at the door and $5 presale -- show starts at 9p.m.
Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano take over Beta's floor with some ridiculous casa beats. Joined by Kostas and Tommy Michael, you can bet your sweet ass will be left bouncing on the floor amidst the Funktion-One. Klutch Beat Bootique will be in the Beatport lounge, but that's included in the $10 ticket.

Funky Buddha holds their usual Beat the Clock with drink specials rising by the $1 as the hours pass. Cheap drinks start at 10p.m. and gradually go up as B-Money and the Almight I.Z. groove with you.
Danny Martinez will be spinning hip-hop and Top 40 jams at the Church, where $1 drinks can be had until 11p.m. For guys, it's only $10, but for ladies who are old enough to drink, it's free until 11p.m.
Reggae on the Roof at Vinyl with Chief Rocka and The Versatile strays slightly from the Cinco de Mayo tradition, but holds true in the fact that it's definitely going to be a celebration.
