Here comes another Thursday, and if its anything like last Thursday then it's going to be wild and fun. Last week, we tore it up all over the city, and now that we're fully recovered from the Showcase/PrideFest hangover, there's plenty to do tonight, from the Westword Music Showcase Awards at the Bluebird to Cosmic Gate at Beta. Click through for a complete rundown.

The Westword Music Showcase award ceremony kicks off the unofficial start to the weekend at the Bluebird Theater. Doors open at 7:00pm and guess what, this is a free show!

Sonic Bloomers will be getting the party started early at the Sonic Bloom camp grounds up in Georgetown. Tickets are available at the gate and on the website.

After scratching the vinyl for Wheelchair Sports Camp at the Westword Music Showcase, B Money will be holding it down at Funky Buddha again with the weekly Beat the Clock night. Drink prices rise as the clock ticks, so get there early to enjoy the cocktails for cheap. The Church's DJ Phil and Danny Martinez will be keeping things hip with '80s and '90s jams starting at 9p.m. The main floor is closed, but the downstairs is open for dancing, drinking and socializing. Vinyl's rooftop opens up for Reggae on the Roof at 10 p.m. The summer nights stay cool with island beats and comfy seats as KDJ spins. And there's more reggae to be had at Rockstar Lounge for Rockstar Reggae.

The Funktion-One system at Beta will be feeling the wrath of Cosmic Gate tonight. Gabriel and Dresden packed the floor last week, and hopefully with the help of Trajikk and DJ Law, this show will do the same thing. Are you waiting to purchase tickets? They are still available at the door and on the website, but in case you wanted to know the price before you go web-surfing, it is $12 with that pesky surcharge.

Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom will be kicking the weekend off with some hip-hop courtesy of Mane Rok Es-Nine and A.V.I.U.S., who are hosting a dual release party. The Legendary Artifacts will join these microphone maniacs on stage along with Deca, Ichiban, Deejay Tense, Rhias of Air Dubai, Sarah Golay and Jess Jones. Tickets are $15 and the doors open up 8 p.m.

The Otherside, meanwhile, kicks off the Colorado Widespread Panic run with a pre-party hosting the Dyrty Byrds. Doors open at the same time as the Ballroom, but tickets to this show only cost $10. If you are planning on going to WSP this weekend, let's hope you already got your tickets because this Red Rocks run is probably their last ,and it is incredibly sold out.
