Tonight: The Pink Floyd Experience at the Boulder Theater
Pink Floyd is a band that is often imitated. The San Diego sextet known as The Pink Floyd Experience, led by vocalist and guitarist Tom Quinn, takes its version of the seminal band to the next level, as it regurgitates the Floyd catalog with expert precision, while the accompanying video and lights create a multi-dimensional atmosphere (complete with a floating helium pig).
This particular time around, the tribute act presents the band's 1977 record, Animals, in its entirety, along with with the usual Floyd classics, while emphasizing rare and less popular tracks. This show is all ages and tickets are $43.25. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the concert begins at 9 p.m.
