Treehouse Collective's annual Pitch a Tent party, September 3 near Idaho Springs

If you've been to one of the three previous Pitch a Tent parties — the Treehouse Collective's annual adieu to summer — then you already know what to expect, which is bangin', sultry house beats amid beautiful mountain backdrops. And for this fourth anniversary of Pitch a Tent love, the Treehouse gang is pulling out all the stops. There will be a second stage of music, a food-and-drink vendor slinging Jamaican food, live art installations and more, including Treehouse residents Brick Lee, Isaac H, Khalib, Styles Davis and Travis Press spinning alongside dozens of other DJs from around the metro area (Essell, Himay and Heather Suzanne, Ivy, Jerome Baker, Paul Garcia and Tess among them), and even a special surprise from Midwest Massive house diva Jen HA. Show up early on Saturday, September 3, to claim a primo camping spot, bring plenty of water and warm clothes, leave no trace, and be prepared to dance all night long and into the morning in the mountain air near Idaho Springs. Pitch a Tent takes place on private land (get details and directions at
