The complete lineup for Showcase has been finalized, and all that's left to do now is countdown the days until the sixteenth annual Westword Music Showcase takes place on Saturday, June 19.

Nearly a hundred local acts (well over a hundred if you count Single File and Tickle Me Pink) have been tapped to perform on fifteen stages across the Golden Triangle neighboorhood (including a couple of new venues: Opal and Andrew's on Lincoln), alongside some remarkable headliners, Ghostland Observatory, Superchunk, the Dirty Projectors, Neon Indian, Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights, Tickle Me Pink, Single File and Oh My Stars.

Take a good look at the list. We think you'll agree that this year's local lineup is every bit as compelling as those bold print mainstage acts. Look for a healthy mix of Showcase veterans and a slew of first timers. Among the first-timers is Lilly Scott, who will be playing her first local post-American Idol gig at our Showcase with her band, Varlet.

Awesome, yes? Wait, it get's better. If ten hours of music featuring almost a hundred acts isn't enough, BoomBox is playing a special late night set at City Hall after Ghostland Observatory's sure-to-be mesmerizing set on the mainstage. All this for just $15! Can you believe it? Well, actually, that price is good right now. If you wait until the day of the show, that price doubles, so have at it! See the full local lineup after the jump.
