Anyone who has followed the Internet and television show Out Tha Box TV probably checked out the episode'The Legend of Boozilla.' It told the story of Xavier Davis, aka Za Boo, aka Boozilla, a Colorado hip-hop producer who was making huge waves in the Colorado hip-hop scene and was close to busting out nationally. Unfortunately, Davis was arrested on drug conspiracy charges in 1999 and sentenced to twelve years in a federal prison. Apparently that ten-minute episode about Boozilla wasn't enough in relaying the whole story, so directors Rob G, Sid Fly and Optimum Films plan on releasing a full-length documentary called Wiretap, telling the whole story. No word on a release date, but check out the trailer after the jump:
