After the February 28 death of her boyfriend, Austin O'Loughlin, Boulder's Nina Schwartz poured out her emotions on Facebook.

She was clearly shattered by his death.

Now, however, the Boulder Police Department has arrested Schwartz for allegedly causing O'Loughlin to lose his life.

Investigators believe that Schwartz was a heroin dealer who supplied the drug to O'Loughlin and then didn't do enough to save him.

Schwartz's Facebook page features photos of her, including this one....

...and numerous images of her with O'Loughlin, many of them extremely intimate. Here's an example:

Their pairing came to a premature end in late February.

At 1:43 a.m. on the 28th of that month, according to the Boulder Police Department, officers responded to a 911 call at a house on the 2900 block of 17th Street in Boulder.

There, they found O'Loughlin dead. They also located heroin and assorted drug paraphernalia, including syringes, pipes and spoons.

Afterward, O'Loughlin's own Facebook page was transformed into a tribute to him, entitled "Remembering Austin O'Loughlin."

Here's the profile pic from that page....

Meanwhile, Schwartz shared her pain in the following February 28 Facebook post:

My fiance Austin O'Loughlin died last night at 2 a.m. and a huge part of me died with him. I haven't stopped crying since i found his body and i don't know what to do now. The only man I ever truly loved so deeply. I'm never goin to be able to hold him or kiss his lips or anymore of the amazing things that he did for me.

I've never met and I never will meet someone with a bigger heart then Austin. He was my whole world, he was my everything and I've never felt more alone in my entire life. He told me exactly everything he wanted at his funeral since we were together, so if anyone wants to join me in carrying out his last wishes, then please message me. I will post more news when I hear from the morgue and the detective, but so far they don't really know what happened and neither do I. Please just have him in ur prayers. He saved my life so many times that I don't know what I'm going to do without him. He's the love of my life and his love will be carried on in my heart forever. Austin baby, I will never stop loving u ever and i don't think i will be able to ever love someone that much again. We were supposed to be together til the end and not now, not this soon. I need u still. My love for u will never stop, u will live on in my heart forever and ever. I can't even put into words how much he meant to me. The detectives took both mine and his phone, so contact me on here if anyone needs to. Baby, I love u and nothing in the world will ever take that love away. U r my whole world and I will make sure u will never be forgotten.

Other posts about O'Loughlin followed, including one from March 1 that featured the text "Austin would sing me to sleep with this song every night and Austin baby u r in my heart forever until I'm finally with u again." Accompanying the line was this video:

The page has been quiet since mid-March, however, and now, the BPD has placed Schwartz under arrest in connection with O'Loughlin's death.

Upcoming Events

Why? For one thing, the department cites witnesses who reportedly say Schwartz was a drug dealer — and investigators surmise that she supplied O'Loughlin with the heroin that caused his death.

For another, Schwartz is believed to have waited three-and-a-half hours to call for medical assistance — an assertion that contradicts her own claim that she called the cops as soon as she realized O'Loughlin was unconscious.

The offenses for which Schwartz was busted are manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, unlawful distribution of heroin and unlawful possession with intent to sell.

Below, see Schwartz's booking photo, followed by a CBS4 report about the case that focuses on heroin dealing in general.
