The move makes sense even if the Tebow miracles stop coming. Clearly, Orton's no longer in the Broncos' plans from a short-term, medium-term or long-term perspective, so why continue to give networks the opportunity to show him on the sidelines trying not to look gleeful after another three-and-out? Brady Quinn's a lot more photogenic anyhow.

As for you Tebow haters, get ready: Unless he's carried away on a stretcher in the coming weeks, he'll be the Broncos' starter for the rest of the season.

If not beyond.
