Found myself at the Park Meadows mall on Monday, and learned three things:

1. The recession is over, at least judging by the Park Meadows food court, which was a sea of Chick-fil-A-craving shoppers.

2. Chick-fil-A's fries are overrated.

3. East Highlands is among the thirty coolest neighborhoods in America, according to the June issue of Men's Journal. The neighborhood -- nicknamed "E-Hi," although I've never heard it called that -- is apparently where Denver's smart (but not annoyingly so) set live and play. It's where young families not ready to settle down escape suburbia. It's more colorful than the increasingly beige Wash Park and Cherry Creek 'hoods. And it's ninety minutes door-to-door from A-Basin.

Or something like that. I'm paraphrasing. I spent my magazine money on overrated fries.
