Mental health benefit and submachine guns -- the perfect combination
On October 23, the Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network is hosting a wine tasting and auction, with proceeds earmarked to provide mental-health services to insurance-challenged folks in the area. And what's being auctioned off? Among other things, "a session with the Douglas County Tactical Team, including a live-fire experience in the tactical shoot house and the chance to fire a fully-automated submachine gun."
I hope all of those who participates are in good mental health themselves -- or else that might push them over the edge. Read the press release below. -- Michael Roberts
