Yesterday, the Denver Police Department released preliminary information about a homicide at 1232 West 46th Avenue, a locale captured in the graphic above (if you have problems seeing the image, click "View Larger Map"). Today, the Denver Coroner's Office has identified the victim: Stephen Ramirez, 24. Read the brief release after the jump.

On June 9th, 2009 Stephen Ramirez, age 24, of Denver, Colorado was transported to Denver Health Medical Center from the 1200 block of West 46th Avenue. He was pronounced dead at 1:15 a.m., June 9th, 2009. An autopsy has been completed at the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner. The cause of death is multiple stab wounds. The manner of death is homicide. Requests for an autopsy report when it is completed can be made via e-mail. Questions regarding the investigation should be referred to the Denver Police Department.
