In the words of the immortal Mike Reno, we're all working for the weekend. Over the past few days, Westworders documented how that effort paid off in Denver at our slide show page and Show and Tell, Cafe Society and Backbeat Online blogs. Look below to see samples featuring Big Gigantic, food porn shots, Z-Trip in a spin and Cirque du Soleil's juggler, who turned our offices into a toss-up. "Big Gigantic played the first of a pair of Denver/Boulder shows on Friday, January 20, 2012 for a sold-out crowd at the Boulder Theater. Photos by Britt Chester."

"Seventeen meals in four days, excluding bakery stops; 26 miles of walking (give or take), plus an additional 4.3 miles of exhibition halls clustered with more than 80,000 specialty foods and beverages from nearly forty countries."

"Z-Trip brought the ruckus so damn hard for the Saturday night Terminal Kings festivities at City Hall. Surrounded by the art that will adorn the walls of Denver International Airport, party-goers most definitely got what they came for last night: The music phenom imbued City Hall with so much bass, it could have been measured by the Richter Scale. Extremely personable, Z-Trip seemed to be loving the music he played for the crowd -- as much as the elated audience."

"It had been far too long since any literal juggling was done in the Westword conference room, so when the offer came down to see Cirque du Soleil Dralion juggler Vladik Miagkostupov perform in person, we welcomed it with open, uncoordinated arms."
