Reader: Gunsmoke Guns isn't automatically guilty just because the I.R.S. staged a raid
Our latest update about Gunsmoke Guns, the Wheat Ridge business at the center of the just-canceled reality TV series American Guns, featured a search warrant affidavit suggesting tax rip-offs going back years. But the evidence presented in the document against the Wyatt family -- Rich, Renee, Kurt and Paige -- didn't convince one self-described patriot, who has doubts about the feds.
I would like to wait and understand all the issues surrounding the blog and the alleged I.R.S. claims. As a law-abiding, tax-paying citizen of this country, I too have been the victim of the I.R.S. and the brute-force strong arm tactics they often employ. I hope that Mr. Wyatt and his family will come out of this mess with great results, as our community needs as many successful businesses as possible.
