It's been a great season for the Broncos, but it ended in an extremely ugly way. Denver was crushed by the Seahawks in a 43-8 Super Bowl loss that will take longtime fans back to the worst big-game blow-outs of the past. A bad snap on Denver's first offensive play led to a safety and two points for the Seahawks.
Seattle received a punt after the safety and drove down the field. But the Broncos' D tightened up, holding Seattle to a Steven Hauschka field goal.

After the Broncos failed to recover an onside kick, the Seahawks rubbed salt in the wound with a pass-happy drive capped with a TD to Doug Baldwin, bringing the score to 43-8.
