When everyone's favorite cheap, trashy hipster bar turns three, ya gotta take notice. And true to form, the brash and retro Rockbar makes that easy: There's something going there every night this week, as well as some cool drink specials. Tonight, Rockbar's Monday-night stalwart, Rockstar Aaron, will be spinning the ´80s, as always. But he'll also be ramping it up a few notches for a Manic Monday ´80s Nerd Prom, featuring a burlesque interlude with leggy Peggy Tulane, bubblegum vodka punch and ticket giveaways to see the Who's Bad Michael Jackson tribute band at the Bluebird Theater. Also, for the truly nerdy, free wedgies and swirlies will be offered to the first 100 people to crowd in. So don't forget your favorite pocket protector. And remember, the aforementioned week-long drink deals include three-buck Tres Rios, 3 Olives Vodka and Jagers (and throw in one free Rockbar shot glass with your first Jager).

Rockbar is at 3015 East Colfax Avenue; get details on this and coming anniversary events through Saturday at Rockbar's MySpace page or call 303-322-4444.
