Vile prejudice and hatred to accompany same-sex marriage debate at CU
Westboro Baptist Church's Fred Phelps: one evil bastard.
No doubt some supporters of same-sex marriage already had their doubts about the evenhandedness of tonight's debate on the topic at CU. After all, it's sponsored by the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Center -- and the Catholic church as an institution is about as open to the concept as it is to women as priests.
Still, that's nothing compared to the appalling anti-gay bias regularly spewed by representatives of Topeka's Westboro Baptist Church. And guess what? WBC representatives have announced that they'll be picketing "THE FAG MARRIAGE DEBATE AT THE CATHOLIC 'PRIESTS RAPE BOYS' CAMPUS MINISTRY."
Look below to read the rest of the organization's press release/threat -- and then, afterward, pray for its members' souls:
WBC TO PICKET THE FAG MARRIAGE DEBATE AT THE CATHOLIC "PRIESTS RAPE BOYS' CAMPUS MINISTRY OR COLORADO UNIV., MONDAY, JAN. 25, FROM 6:00 TO 7:00 PM
The question on the table: "Should the government recognize same-sex marriage?" Better question: "Do you fools really think this is a question up for debate?" Best question: "Has it even occurred to you that having this debate (& its inevitable endorsement of abominable same-sex marriage & the societal institution of same) will be the final straw in bringing your Noah's-Flood-like destruction?"
"For in the days that were before the flood they were eating & drinking, marrying & giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, & took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be." Mt. 24:38-39
What you should take away from this passage:
Pre-Flood society was prosperous, rebellious, & clueless. They weren't just appropriately "eating & drinking;" they were gluttonous brutes -- just like America. They weren't just appropriately "marrying & giving in marriage;" they were, as a society, recognizing these counterfeit versions of marriage (filthy fag couples, etc.) -- just like America. And they had no idea their destruction was imminently upon them, though they had many words of warning from faithful preachers (e.g. Noah) for many years -- just like America.
AMERICA IS DOOMED.
